Company History
Founded in 1977 by John K. Domici, Jr., General Tool Specialties is headed by a leader in the tooling industry. Originally an apprentice mold maker at Tilp, Inc. of Union, New Jersey, John's vast experience has lent well to the formation, continued growth and success of General Tool Specialties.
John D. Domici, A Manufacturing Engineer with 21 years experience in the industry. John joined General Tool Specialties, Inc. in 1982 and worked in maintenance for two years prior to his apprenticeship. His apprenticeship included receiving a working knowledge of all shop equipment before moving on to engineering. He has an Associates Degree in Science from Raritan Valley Community College; Certificates in Mastercam and Cimatron.
With a customer base located throughout the United States, General Tool Specialties' modern tooling facility has become known as a leading manufacturer in the tooling industry by taking on the most complex projects and always delivering a quality product on time.
