Company Profile		General Tool Specialties is a "State of the Art" design and manufacturing company, specializing in injection molds for the plastics and Die Cast Industry.  A leader in CNC & EDM machining, General Tool Specialties is a full service shop, employing over 15 of the best toolmakers in the industry.  No project is too large or small within the scope of our capacity.
		General Tool Specialties is involved in all aspects of plastic product from concept to reality. We can produce molds from ideas and sketches to the most sophisticated 3-D Cad files. We have our own design for a hot runner system, which allows quicker mold startup and easier color changes. Industries we produce for are Aerospace, Automotive, Consumer Products, Cosmetics, Optical and Medical. We have built a variety of tools from very small, intricate molds for the medical industry to very large (10 ton) molds with complex mechanical moving components. We guarantee our products.
Company History		Founded in 1977 by  John K. Domici, Jr., General Tool Specialties is headed by a leader in the tooling industry. Originally apprenticed at Tilp, Inc. of Union, New Jersey, a leader in NC machining in the 60's, John's vast experience has lent well to the formation, continued growth and success of General Tool Specialties. John D. Domici, Manufacturing Engineer with 19 years experience in the industry. John joined General Tool Specialties, Inc. in 1982 and worked in maintenance for two years prior to his apprenticeship. His apprenticeship included receiving a working knowledge of all shop equipment before moving on to engineering. He has an Associates Degree in Science from Raritan Valley Community College; Certificates in Mastercam and Cimatron. With a customer base located throughout the United States, General Tool Specialties' modern tooling facility has become known as a leader in the manufacturing of high precision tools for the electrical, computer and cosmetic industries and are capable, when required, of maintaining tolerances as close as +/- 0.0001.
